GUYON DU BUISSON, JEAN (fils), arpenteur royal, originaire de Mortagne, au Perche, baptisé le 1er août 1619 à Mortagne-au-Perche, France, fils de Jean Guyon du Buisson et de Mathurine Robin, décédé le 13 janvier 1694 à Château-Richer, Nouvelle-France.

Arrivé au Canada probablement avec son père en 1634, Jean Guyon épouse à Québec, le 27 novembre 1645, Élisabeth Couillard, fille de Guillaume Couillard, qui lui donnera 12 enfants. C’est peut-être sous Jean Bourdon ou Martin Boutet, tous deux arpenteurs, qu’il devint le premier arpenteur formé au Canada. Il exerçait déjà le 12 avril 1662, avec le titre d’arpenteur pour la seigneurie de Notre-Dame-des-Anges. Plus tard (1667), il s’intitulera « arpenteur du roi en ce pays ». Il ira finir ses jours à Château-Richer, où il avait obtenu une concession dès 1650.
