GUYON DU BUISSON, JEAN (père), maître maçon, pionnier de Beauport, baptisé le 18 septembre 1592 à Tourouvre (Orne, France), fils de Jacques Guyon et de Marie Huet ; il épousa Mathurine Robin le 2 juin 1615 à Mortagne-au-Perche (Orne) ; décédé le 30 mai 1663 à Québec et inhumé le lendemain dans la même ville.

Le 14 mars 1634, à Mortagne, Guyon passa, avec son compatriote Cloutier, un engagement envers Robert Giffard. Il s’établit à Beauport la même année avec sa femme et la plupart de leurs enfants, dont le nombre s’éleva au moins à huit. Ayant reçu de Giffard un arrière-fief près de la rivière du Buisson, il s’attribua à lui-même ce surnom nobiliaire. Plusieurs de ses descendants portent maintenant le nom de Dion.
